Our group is made up of four brands specialising in retail and wholesale meat production and supply, and transport and third party logistics. Our four brands are Preston’s Master Butchers, Preston Foods, Ken Wilson Meats, and KAM Transport and Logistics. All our brands are Wellington based and date back to 1904, when Arthur Edward Preston opened his first meat shop in Wellington. To this day, the fifth generation of the family share the same commitment and passion as those who came before them.
Our joint strengths as a group allow us to provide a unique vertically integrated system, controlling product from procurement to delivery. We have strong relationships with local producers, procure quality product direct from source and leading traders, and provide nationwide delivery with our network of modern, eco-friendly vehicles. We are big enough to provide resources and experience to deliver quality on time, while still being small enough to care. Chances are if you’ve eaten at a café in Wellington, bought a delicious Hawkes Bay apple, or eaten some hot fries – it has been produced or delivered by Preston Corp Ltd.
We employ local people, support local clubs, and ensure we give back to those in need in our local communities, with recent support being given to Kai Bosh, Wellington City Mission’s Social Supermarket, Porirua Foodbank, and Nourish Christmas Hampers.

Preston Foods is a 1000m2 food production and packing facility based in Grenada North, Wellington.
We are part of Preston Corp Ltd – a New Zealand family owned and operated business which has been proudly supplying the food industry for almost 120 years. We are passionate about our people and continually strive for customer, product, and operational excellence. Today, the fifth generation share the same commitment and passion as those who came before them.
Preston Foods can produce and deliver customised wholesale meat to nationwide supply contacts, such as cafes, restaurants, bars, and caterers as well as, aged care, health care, and corrections facilities.
With our talented and experienced team of butchers and packers, Preston Foods can supply a large range of meat including:
